The Roadmap: September-October 2018

 In The Roadmap

On August 4th, Carol and John Ridings Lee invited us to their home and garage. We always have a big turnout of members when we have a chance to see John’s wonderful cars, this year was no exception.

THE TEXAS REGION’S NOT-SO-GRAND CLASSIC & DEBUTANTE PICNIC

October 27, 2018
11:00 AM

The 16th “Not-So-Grand Classic” and Debutante Picnic is being held at the home of Joy and Mike Ames.

The “Not-So-Grand” is a fun old-car competition with silly awards. Our panel of “Not-So-Grand” judges will be chosen from the group present. Only Full Classics® may be Debutantes, however, all “collector” cars of 25 years or older, are welcome to participate in the judged competition. Winners will receive a “Not-So-Grand” trophy!

If you have a Classic that is new to the club, it is eligible to make a formal debut at this function, and be welcomed into the Texas Region with a champagne toast.

Our picnic lunch will be under the shade of the oaks and catered box lunches will be served.
