New Regional Website

If you have not seen it yet, login to https://texasccca.com and check it out. We had let the old website go for far too long. So long in fact that it was hacked, and when one finally found it, there were photos of pick-up trucks on it!

Merle Tanner took on the job of updating the site. Now we all need to direct more eyes to it.

Car enthusiasts, who are not yet into Classics®, may be more interested in joining in and learning about these cars, and our club, when they have an introduction on the Internet.

Rainy May Event

It was a gloomy day with storms predicted. But a large group of NTR members came out to Duffy Oyster’s Hula Hut in Little Elm to enjoy friends, food and margaritas along with rain, wind and hail. Luckily no one drove a Full Classic®, as it did seem that we were going to have a coastal hurricane right on Lake Lewisville, but it calmed down for the drive to Duffy’s garage in Dallas.

June Garage Tour

“Garage” is probably not the correct term for the car storage facilities we visited. And they were within walking distance of each other.

Angelo Mendez opened his garage to us first. Many of us had seen his Packards at the Westlake car show, usually winning first place. But along with the great cars he has a wonderful collection of automobilia. Everywhere you looked there was another unique treasure. Much of it was Packard related.

Craig Rothmeier greeted us at David Disiere’s warehouse. This is an amazing space with an eclectic collection. There are Full Classics®, many that have been shown at Pebble Beach, muscle cars and track ready Porsches, and more. Something for everyone, including a collection of steering wheels from Formula One cars.

After we had a chance to take most of this in, we had a lunch catered by Soulman’s BBQ. Thanks, David and Craig.
